An ex-RAOC soldier suffered from severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from his service, which had gone undiagnosed for 27 years. He was a “prisoner in his own home” with very significant personal and financial challenge. This case was referred to The RLC Association by the Royal British Legion.
Together with other Military Charites, the Association helped with immediate financial assistance to assist this soldier get his life back together.
