ACCESS TO SERVICE RECORDS

The RASC and RCT Association DOES NOT hold any military service records relating to RASC/RCT veterans.

Please note that there is not as much detail recorded on Army Personal files (Service Records) as people think. Army files are paper-based records that follow the career of the individual and, in most cases, make little mention of theatres of operation or action seen. An application for a Service Record can take the MOD up to 12 months to process.

There is comprehensive guidance on how serving personnel, veterans and the next of kin of deceased Service Personnel can access their, or their immediate relative’s, records on the Government website. Click the button below.

In addition, you may want to contact the RLC Museum.  Details about the Museum Archives are at the following link: https://rlcmuseum.com/research/
