When family circumstances changed for a former soldier who served 22 years in The RLC, he had to move from his local area to an unfurnished flat in a different town. Having moved into this unfurnished flat, the soldier contacted his local SSAFA branch who forwarded the case to The RLC Association. The trust assisted him with carpets and sponsored the request to the ABF/TSC which helped with a grant for white goods.
