44 Sp Sqn RMAS has hosted an educational event to commemorate The Battle of Waterloo and the historical relationships formed between predecessors of the Royal Wagon Train and the soldiers of The Royal Logistic Corps.
The event held on Tue 10 Sep 19, included a re-enactment of one of the cannons being seized from the French during the battle.
During the re-enactment, RMAS witnessed Riflemen skirmishing and line infantry repelling the French.
The event ended with a resupply conducted by a Tumbril and horses, with focus paid to the heroic acts of Pte Brewer of the Royal Wagon Train in support of the Coldstream Guards, during the Battle for Hougoumont Farm.
Staff from RHQ RLC, RMAS staff, RMAS Academic staff, Sandhurst Trust were all in attendance.
