RE:SILIENT, the trading subsidiary of RE:ACT Disaster Response charity, is currently advertising for three Technical Engineers to support Hertfordshire County Council’s occupational health department.
RE:SILIENT repurposes the skills and experience of military veterans to provide direct humanitarian action for the hardest to reach and most vulnerable people affected by disaster and crisis. All profits are directed to RE:ACT, creating a self-funded, sustainable charity that can help more people in need and deliver on the charity’s mission.
The three temporary positions are suitable for veterans located in the Hertfordshire area. Duties include: routine servicing and maintenance of NHS bariatric beds, bath lifts, hoists and other basic equipment. A full UK Driving Licence is required.

On 5 April 1993, the Royal Corps of Transport, the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, the Royal Pioneer Corps, the Army Catering Corps and the Postal and Courier Branch of the Royal Engineers amalgamated to form The RLC.
