The development of the RLC Foundation continues at pace. Our first event took place on 21 May in London and was generously hosted by PA Consulting.
Forty six people attended from The RLC, Industry and Academia and were treated to two presentations; one from Brigadier Martin Moore and the second from Annie Lakovaki of PA Consulting. The presentations generated good questions and a number of themes emerged. Most importantly we need to develop closer engagement with Industry to learn the language of modern supply chain operations, to look at sharing experience through work attachments and visits to exercises. We also need to ensure that the training and education that RLC soldiers and officers receive is properly accredited and recognised by Industry. Loads more to do and we will keep you posted.
