RLC Major shortlisted for top award

The SO2 Training Operations at RHQ The RLC, Maj Jason Goodchild, has been named as a South East regional finalist for the Apprenticeship Champion of the Year Award. The award for Apprenticeship Champion of the Year, recognises individuals who go ‘above and beyond’ to champion apprenticeships.

Now in their 16th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards showcase the diverse and growing range of sectors engaged with apprenticeships. The awards celebrate employers who fire up their business with apprenticeships, outstanding apprentices who blaze their own trail, and individuals who champion apprenticeships with passion.

The finalists have already made it through a rigorous regional judging process and are apprenticeship exemplars. Their stories highlight best practice across recruitment excellence, high quality training practices, diversity and career progression.

On 12 September 2019, the regional winners will be named. If successful, Maj Goodchild will go forward the national final, with the winners announced at a ceremony on  27 November 2019. Good luck Jason. #AppAwards19
