Eight RLC Communications Specialists have achieved a post-graduate certificate in wireless communications from the University of Wolverhampton.
Congratulations go to: Leon Hartley, Andrew Peddelty, Essa Gaye, Paul Smith, James Wookey, Michael Ford, Amit Shakya and Scott Andrew Vernon. All eight students completed a course provided by Ubi-Tech (3R) to gain their certificates.
Maj Jay Goodchild, the SO2 Training Ops at RHQ The RLC, said: “ I am extremely encouraged that soldiers within The RLC have the opportunity to professionalise their skill set in line with their civilian counterparts whilst working with an industry recognised training provider which are willing to go that extra mile in support of our soldiers.”
Ubi-Tech (3R) Ltd has been providing CPD training to The RLC since 2016 and says it is committed to inspiring and enabling access to industry recognised training for service personnel.

Today marks the 28th Anniversary of the formation of The RLC.
On 5 April 1993, the Royal Corps of Transport, the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, the Royal Pioneer Corps, the Army Catering Corps and the Postal and Courier Branch of the Royal Engineers amalgamated to form The RLC.
