CILT Awards for Excellence 2021: could you be a winner?

Nominations are now open for the 2021 Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Awards for Excellence.

Now in its twenty-ninth year, the prestigious Awards provide the chance for organisations to empower their staff to develop the logistics and transport profession, using the platform to promote the profile of individuals and organisations who have excelled. The Awards aim to recognise achievement and share best practice in 12 different categories, with 10 awards going to organisations and two to individuals.

The MOD has previously seen success in the CILT Awards for Excellence with UK Defence Logistics winning the Operations Management category and RAF Logistics Specialist Training Wing winning People Development in 2018.

Over the last year, The Royal Logistic Corps and its personnel have undeniably contributed to moving the profession forward, from the large-scale provision given to Operation RESCRIPT, to support given to smaller ‘behind the scenes’ operations.

In order for the Corps and its personnel to be recognised, we need your help. To ensure the leading membership body for professionals within logistics and transport recognises the hard-work and commitment of The RLC and its serving personnel, we need you to put yourself, your colleagues and organisational projects forward to be judged by the highly-esteemed expert panel made up of sixty industry-leading volunteer professionals.

Nominations require a maximum 2,500 word submission presenting real examples of real projects delivering real results. The Defence Support People Team (DSPT) are willing to offer advice on drafting a great nomination based on feedback received from CILT on previous submissions.
