Congratulations to Corporal Christopher McNee on winning the Army Safety Award 2025!During a highly complex and high-risk Military Aid to the Civil Authorities (MACA) Explosive Ordnance Disposal operation at Tilbury Power Station, Cpl McNee demonstrated exceptional safety leadership, judgement, and moral courage.His professionalism, environmental awareness, and unwavering commitment ensured the munition was safely neutralised on the fourth day with zero injuries, zero infrastructure damage, and zero environmental contamination – protecting critical national infrastructure and upholding the very best of Army Values & Standards.
