The RLC Foundation is hiring

The Royal Logistic Corps Foundation (RLCF) has a vacancy for a Business Support Manager.

The Foundation is looking for an experienced, highly motivated individual looking for a new challenge, who can predominantly work remotely on a four days a week basis. The role will involve some office working in either Aldershot or occasionally at RHQ The RLC in Worthy Down, near Winchester.

The post could be particularly suitable for an individual with some military experience, ideally, but not exclusively, with the Regular Army or Army Reserves.  

Primary responsibilities include:

Support the Director RLCF in advertising, initiating and maintaining working relationships with all Foundation members, acting as the RLCF focal point for general enquiries.

Manage the processing of all RLCF financial business, providing generation, monitoring and assurance of invoicing and balance sheet transactions under the authority of The RLC Association Treasurer.

Manage all RLCF social media (Facebook/LinkedIn) and, working in conjunction with the website manager, update all RLCF website content. 

Support the Director RLCF in organising Foundation events/awards, including advertisement, managing attendees, co-hosting and arranging administrative and supporting activities for corporate and military members.

In conjunction with the Director RLCF, manage the submissions for the annual RLCF Review magazine and RLCF content for The RLC’s Sustainer magazine.

Organise the production of RLCF supporting publications (brochures, awards programmes, certificates, etc).

Attend all RLCF meetings (remotely or in person) as agreed with the Director RLCF.
