The Corps Today

From tanks and ammunition to letters and food, we get the right amount of the right kit to the right people in the right place at the right time – enabling the Army to do its job, and boosting morale along the way. We fight logistics through to keep the army working, moving and communicating.

The RLC makes up 16% of the British Army – it is the largest most diverse Corps. About 60% of RLC Officers and soldiers are employed in supply and distribution functions. Up to 40% of the Corps is detached to other capbadges, including front line units at any one time. Wherever in the world you find the army, you will find the RLC.

The Corps is made up of 13 Regular regiments and 12 Reserve regiments mostly based in the UK, however two are currently based in Guttersloh, Germany.
