RLC

Heritage

The RLC is the youngest Corps in the British Army, however it has a rich heritage stemming from its five “Forming Corps”.

While each predecessor Corps traces its history variously to the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, they all have antecedents which stretch back to the first use of soldiers in war. Today, they still have one task in common: support of the British Army in peace and war.
